I always find it interesting how easy it to be "above average". It's really about owning what you say you will do and being consistent. You readers just want you to show up and provide a little value each day. That's the key.

After a year on Substack, while I'm not a bestseller yet and may never be by Substack's definition, by being here consistently every Tuesday with a new, original piece, where I wrote my heart out even when two people might've been the only ones reading it at first, I have lots more people reading my work than when I had my own blogs in the past.
More importantly, all that writing paid off in serving as an outlet for my creativity that keeps me sane while I have one foot in day job world. It also helped me find my non-business writing voice again so I'm ready to write another book.
You never know what can happen if you follow through on what you say you are going to do :)
Exactly, you never know! Like you, I had blogs in the past and now with substack over the years I’ve developed a weekly publishing schedule I’ll probably keep for life! I’m happy to have connected with you and got to experience your amazing work!
