Robyn shared behind-the-scenes stories from her trip, including navigating a tiny gangplank to reach her floating hotel, surviving a stormy night on the water, dealing with lost luggage for eight days, and discovering hidden local experiences most tourists never see.
She also talked about working with a local Croatian storyteller who showed her a deeper side of Split beyond the traditional tourist routes.
Along the way, our conversation shifted into something I love discussing: audience clarity and building a publication with intention.
We talked about attracting the right people—not everyone—and why successful brands and publications are built around specific people and specific experiences.
This live became more than a travel update.
It became a reminder that the best stories, content, and communities often come from simply documenting experiences as they happen in the present moment.
